Night Program

Friday Night

Chino and the Big Bet

Chino is a classic of Drag the Blues; he has been with us in most of the editions. This time as a trio, they will play Chicago and Texas blues, sometimes deep and serious and sometimes playful. Clear rhythms full of breaks and slides. Nothing is better as a beginning of the festival.

Big Mama Montse

Friday 22.30

Dave Riley + Tota Blues & JLPardo

Our combination of aces. They come straight from the past with their Chicago blues. Dave comes from New Orleans with his European tour, and he joins with two greats from Spain, Tota from Barcelona and JLPardo from Madrid. They have known each other for a long time, and this can only end very well this time they play especially for dancers.

Carla Sunday Quartet

New band this year, with lots of energy and personality, especially from his singer Carla. When you listen to it, you will notice it. A blues choise and some soul at the end, perfect for lowering the tone of the night until the end. The lights will go down even more, obviously.

Rapport

Whisper, calm, connection, breathe deeply; It's rapport. Versions of pop, blues, soul for all tastes; made to be totally danceable. Every year they visit us, and every year they hypnotize us. Visit them in the small fusion room.

Saturday Night

Dumpy Lobsters

The Dumpy Lobsters are great musicians from Barcelona who play traditional Blue Jazz with a lot of class. In the style of New Orleans, perfect for dancing and especially Ballrooming. They also offer this combination with a dose of humour that comes over well with the dancers on the floor and the spectators who have the pleasure of hearing them.

The Teasers (Tina & Joe)

High quality and elegance. This two interprets select a carefully repertoire for each occasion. The musical styles  are from classics of retro and modern styles like blues, soul, jazz, pop, or rock. Without forgetting current themes adapted to the sound and style of their formation.

Tina & Joe Blues

Saturday 01.30

Solà & Estella

Blues duo, more classic, to end the night after a visit to blues-soul with the last group. Guitar, banjo, dobro and instruments created by themselves. Rhythms faster and clearer to finish with all the energy of the night. Change your dance dynamics, look for the roots and let yourself go with the music. Keep it simple. Dance folk blues.

Two Roads

Versions that you surely know and you will like to hum while you dance. Close your eyes, it's slow and smooth; just let yourself be carried away with your partner. Two Roads are specialists in creating this magical atmosphere, and we love them whenever they come. Half blues, half fusion; they will be the last band of the ten that have visited the festival. Until next year.
